You can transfer up to 16 semester-long courses which amounts to approximately 2 years of academic work. Information about registering for courses at Harvard is available on the Registrar's Office website.
Your HarvardKey is a secure log in that will give you access to the many online resources provided by the College. Instructions for setting up your HarvardKey and claiming your new email address are available on the IT Help Portal.
Incoming students will take the Writing and Math exams beginning in June. Students will also have an opportunity to take exams in Biology, Chemistry, and a range of Languages. The recommendations generated from these exams can be useful when beginning to plan a course of study.
On campus housing is available to transfer students. Most housing assignments for transfer students happen in mid- to late July when the Houses have the greatest number of available beds for the Fall semester. Once transfer student housing assignments have been confirmed, (usually sometime in early August) the Housing Office will reach out to you with you assignment. Housing assignments are very likely in shared suites.
In addition to the connections you will build in your House, you can develop close relationships by joining a student organization.
